A group of 12u boys from Newport, Dexter, and Dover-Foxcroft have advanced to the championship game at the Cal Ripken 12U 70. The team called Wild Maine Baseball beat Marshwood 7-6 on Friday night to earn a spot in the State Championship on Sunday at 1 pm in Berwick. The Wild Maine will play the team that makes it out of the losers bracket – Farmington, Messalonskee, or Marshwood. They will have to beat the Wild Maine twice on Sunday.
