Maine Field Hockey falls in overtime to Northeastern

The University of Maine Field Hockey Team dropped a 2-1 overtime decision to Northeastern University in non-conference action at the Maine Field Hockey Complex in Orono on Friday afternoon.

Olivia Geniti had the Black Bears goal to tie it in the second quarter, after Camille Armaganian had opened the scoring in the first for the Huskies. The teams played to a stalemate through the third and fourth quarters, before Anna-Kate Domingue scored unassisted at 3:51 of overtime to give the road win to Northeastern. Taylor Katsube picked up an assist on the Geniti marker for Maine, who falls to 3-4 on the season. Rozarie Mrazova and Jayde Temby split action in the cage and combined six saves. Arabella Loveridge stopped five shots for 4-2 NU. The Black Bears travel to Monmouth and Drexel next weekend for non-conference games on Friday and Sunday afternoon respectively.
