Husson men’s soccer ties, women’s soccer falls in non-conference games

In Biddeford Wednesday night, Husson men’s soccer battled to a 0-0 tie in non-conference action with the University of New England. Liam Mason (Greenville) made one save for the Eagles, who outshot the Nor’Easters 15-8 (3-1 on goal). The Eagles are now 1-5-3 overall, and will take their 1-0 conference record into league games at home this weekend vs Vermont State University-Lyndon and VSU-Johnson.

In Brunswick Wednesday night, the Husson women’s soccer team dropped a 2-0 non-conference decision to Bowdoin College. Annabel Callahan and Sienna Masood scored unassisted goals for the Polar Bears. Madison Weigler made seven saves in net for the Eagles. Husson is now 3-3-1 overall, and will take their 0-0-1 conference mark into league games also at home this weekend against VSU-Lyndon and VSU-Johnson.
