The Bates College men’s soccer team remained hot on Tuesday night with a 3-0 non-conference win over Husson at Boucher Field in Bangor.
The Bobcats, coming off a huge NESCAC win over defending national champion and #13 Amherst on the road this past Saturday, would get a game winner from Luke Cunniffe (Windham High) in the 33rd minute to help shutout the Eagles. Antonio Mesa added the other two goals with one assist going to Cunniffe. Bates improves to 6-1-1 on the season, and will take their 2-1-1 NESCAC record into a league matchup at home with nationally ranked #4 Williams on Saturday afternoon in Lewiston. Husson dips to 3-6-3 (currently 3-0 NAC) and will host a conference game against UMPI on Saturday.
