Husson women’s soccer shuts out UMPI in NAC play

The Husson women’s soccer team scored five second half goals, and got a tally from six different players on Saturday afternoon at Boucher Field in Bangor in a 6-0 North Atlantic Conference win over the University of Maine-Presque Isle.

Addi Laslie (Ellsworth High) had the game winner with only seconds remaining in the first half on an assist from Rylee Speed (Central). Devon St. Louis (Bangor), Hailey Tarbox (Sanford), Jacquie Pangburn (John Bapst), Ella Hosford (Bucksport), and Olivia Charles all scored in the second half for Husson. Thea Gerfen, St. Louis, Tarbox, and Paige Dunn also picked up an assist each. Madison Weigler played in net and didn’t face any shots. The Eagles improve to 6-3-1 and 3-0-1 in league play and will host Colby College in non-conference action on Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
