Fraser Minten scored 2:12 into overtime Thursday night, as the Boston Bruins won their home opener 4-3 over the Chicago Blackhawks at TD Garden.
Casey Middelstadt, Tanner Jeannot, and Elias Lindholm also scored for Boston. Joonas Korpisalo made 21 saves in his first start in net, including a breakaway on Connor Bedard in overtime. The Bruins (2-0) will host the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday night.
