Seth Bowden and Stephone Ross combined for 248 rushing yards and four touchdowns in powering Nokomis to a 42-28 football win over Old Town on Saturday afternoon.
Ross rushed for 129 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries, with the highlight play being a 54 yard touchdown run. Bowden had 119 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries with the big play being a 53 yard scoring run. Bowden also rushed in a two point play. Jeff Carr and Gabe Leighton each had one touchdown for the Warriors. Nokomis (4-2) will be at Hermon on Friday night.
Ethan Closson rushed for two touchdowns and threw for one to lead the Coyotes offense. Closson rushed for 60 yards and two scores on eight carries. He threw for 156 yards on 11-15 passing. Charlie Degrasse rushed for 89 yards and one touchdown on 25 carries. Tommy King had 91 yards receiving and two touchdowns. Old Town (2-4) will be at Brewer on Friday night.
