Charlie Collins (Hampden Academy) and Ethan Keller (Scarborough) of the University of Maine men’s cross country team were named America East Weekly Award winners on Monday.
Collins earned his second America East Performer of the Week this season when he finished seventh at the New England Championships on Friday, October 10th with a time of 24:16:52. Collins was also named to the All-New England team after this performance and helping Maine finish 3rd at the meet. Keller was named the America East Freshman of the Week for a third time. Keller finished the New England Championships 30th overall with a time of 25:12.09, setting a new personal record in his freshman campaign with the Black Bears. The team is back in action at the America East Championship meet scheduled for October 31st in Hopkinton, New Hampshire.
