The Maine men’s basketball team was picked tied for second with Albany in the America East preseason coaches poll released on Monday morning, October 20th.
The Black Bears picked up one of the nine first place votes, with the Vermont Catamounts picked to win the league by garnering seven of those first place votes. Maine went 20-14 a season ago (10-6 in America East), and lost to Bryant in their first conference championship game appearance in 21 years
