Keene St. College rallies in the second round to beat Husson in the Little East Women’s Golf Championship in Rhode Island

Keene State College shot a second round +71 on Friday, and overtook Husson (+82) to win the Little East Conference Championship at Valley Country Club in Warwick, Rhode Island. The Eagles led by six strokes after round one on Thursday, but couldn’t hold on in their quest for their first ever conference title in falling +153 to +158 as the season comes to an end.

Remy Levin (University of Southern Maine) was the individual titleist at +26 overall. Caitlyn Chabot (Dexter) finished third for Husson with a total tournament score of +29. Also for the Eagles, Allie Weinert ended up tied for fourth place (+32), Abigail Theriault (Mattanawcook) was eighth at +48, Caroline Chausse was in ninth at +49, and freshman Riley Fyfe (Winthrop) finished tied for 12th at +57.
