Maine field hockey blanks Holy Cross in non-conference action

The Maine field hockey team got a goal and an assist from Eloise Penty on Sunday afternoon, and blanked Holy Cross 2-0 in non-conference action in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Penty had the game winner in the second quarter, before Martha Barratt added some breathing room about 3:30 later. Saylor Kuefler assisted on both goals, and Brynn Dzengelewski chipped in one assist. Rozarie Mrazova made seven saves in net for her fifth career shutout. Maine is now 6-10 and will take their 1-3 America East record into their regular season finale in league play at Vermont on Thursday at 3 p.m.
