The Maine men’s basketball team tuned up on Wednesday night, October 29th with an 89-47 exhibition win over Division III Husson at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor. The game featured the debuts of Ace Flagg (Nokomis) and Emmitt Byther (Old Town) for the Black Bears, and Pierce Walston (Orono) for the Eagles who all came off the bench.
Maine begins their regular season on Monday, November 3rd in D.C. against George Washington University at 8 p.m., while Husson plays another preseason game on Sunday, November 2 at 2 p.m. against the University of Southern Maine at Newman Gym in Bangor before hosting UMaine-Fort Kent in their season opener on Monday, November 10th at 6 p.m.
