SUNY Delhi gets past Husson men’s soccer in the NAC semifinals, advances to conference championship game

Michael Adeyeye scored a game winning goal in the 58th minute on Saturday afternoon, as SUNY Delhi men’s soccer advanced to the North Atlantic Conference Championship game with a 2-1 victory over Husson in a semifinal playoff match played at Boucher Field in Bangor.

Kian Flynn had the other goal for the #3 seeded Broncos. Victor Blanco scored for the Eagles in the 82nd minute on an assist from Tibo Desorme, but the hosts were unable to find the equalizer. Liam Mason (Greenville) made two saves in net for #2 Husson, who ends their season with a record of 7-9-4. SUNY Delhi (11-3-5) will travel to top seed Thomas College in the NAC Title contest next Saturday, November 8th with a time to be announced. The Terriers (12-7-1) defeated Maine Maritime Academy 3-1 in Saturday’s other semifinal.
