Brady Gaw had three goals and one assist in 6-1 PCHS regional final win over Katahdin. Had one goal in 2-1 state championship win over Telstar. Gaw received 1283 votes to earn male athlete of the week. He joins Alex Speed (4) (10-25-14), Lindsey Morrill (10-20-11), Abby Burdin (4-29-12), Delani Bennett (2) (1-5-15), Erin Speed (3) (10-15-16), Bryce Gilbert (9) (2-11-18), Jordynne LIttlefield (6-13-16), Dillion Drew (10-23-17), Cameron Kane (5-6-18), Kobe Gilbert (9) (3-8-21), Molly Sipple (2) (5-6-22), Ava Goulette (2)(5-16-24, Scott Chadbourne (1-26-23), and Alex Zeller (2-11-23 as student/athletes from Piscataquis Community High School that have earned athlete of the week honors.
Mason Henderson (Leavitt) finished as runner up with 891 votes. Other nominees were Anderson Noyes (Cony), Matt Allen (Orono), and Justin Doody (Gardiner).
