Husson men’s basketball built an 18-point halftime lead, and then hung on to beat SUNY Cobleskill 85-77 on Tuesday afternoon in North Atlantic Conference action in Bangor.
Eric Ahlers had his second consecutive double double performance after recording 20 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Eagles. Connor Heald had 19, Andre McCauley put in 18, Ty Henke also got into double figures with 13 points. Cameron Rhode led four players in double figures for SUNY Cobleskill with 17 points. The Fighting Tigers drop to 4-9 and 3-4 in the NAC. Husson is now 7-5 and 6-1 in the league and will head out a road trip this weekend to play Vermont State University Johnson and VSU Lyndon on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
