Fort Fairfield out scored Katahdin 14-5 in overtime to grab a 69-60 boys basketball win on Tuesday night.
Cayden Ala scored seven points in overtime, including 5-6 from the free throw line. Fort Fairfield shot 8-10 from the line during overtime to seal the win.
Ethan Walsh put in 19 points (all in second half/overtime) and nine rebounds. Ala had a double-double with 17 points and 10 assists. Charlie Griffeth and Levi Cole also finished in double figures with 14 and 12 respectively. Fort Fairfield (12-2) will be at Madawaska on Friday night.
Bryten Hartsgrove finished with a game high 22 points, including 6 three pointers for the Cougars. Calvin Richardson added 18. Katahdin (6-8) will host Washburn on Friday night.
