Ashley Mullen (Messalonskee) hit six three-pointers and scored 18 points, while also hauling down 10 rebounds on Wednesday night to lead #8 nationally ranked Southern Maine Community College to a 61-56 Yankee Small College Conference women’s basketball win over #2 UMaine-Augusta at the Hub in South Portland. The Seawolves improve to 16-4 and 9-2 in the YSCC. Lillian Cox (Madawaska) led the Moose with 18 points, 20 rebounds, and three blocked shots. UMA drops to 11-4 and 6-2 in league play.
