Katie Hanson had 26 points to lead Greenville to a 36-20 girls basketball win over Rangeley. Hanson received 3810 votes to earn the Sports Arena female athlete of the week.
Hanson is the first female student/athlete from Greenville High School to earn athlete of the week honors. Mariah Frost (Stearns) was runner up with 3250 votes. Other nominees this week include Ava Lerman- Wisdom, Mia Mills- Jonesport-Beals, Kirsten Bigelow- Valley, and Ally Shields- Southern Aroostook
