Jaycie Christopher (Skowhegan) and Lucy Wiles (Hampden Academy) both put in 18 points on Wednesday night, as the #25 University of Southern Maine women’s basketball team extended their win streak to 15 games with a 74-51 victory over UMass-Boston in Little East Conference action at Hill Gymnasium in Gorham.
Christopher was 7-12 from the floor (4-7 three-pointers), while also adding nine rebounds and seven assists for the Huskies. Wiles (2-3 three-pointers) grabbed four rebounds and dished out two assists. USM is now 8-0 at home this season and improve to 18-1 and 10-0 in conference play.
