The UMaine-Farmington men’s basketball team overcame a 40 point performance by TJ Blackmon on Saturday afternoon, and would defeat Thomas College 95-83 in a North Atlantic Conference contest played in Farmington.
Zach McLaughlin (Hampden Academy) had a big performance of his own in recording 35 points (three 3-pointers) for the Beavers. Kory Donlin (Medomak) put in 20 points, while Jason Reynolds (Winslow) and Charlie Houghton (Dirigo) had 12 points each. Reynolds also hauled down 20 rebounds. Brayden St. Pierre (Maranacook) would also get into double figures with 10, as UMF improved to 17-5 and 14-1 in the NAC.
