After Husson men’s and women’s basketball both suffered their third North Atlantic Conference loss of the season at SUNY Cobleskill on Friday, the Eagles responded with two road wins at SUNY Delhi on Saturday afternoon.
Men’s: Husson 92, SUNY Delhi 74. Eric Ahlers 26 points, 12 rebounds/Gil Matondo 22 points/Connor Heald 17 points, 10 rebounds/Dylan Burpee (Southern Aroostook) 12 points. Eagles now 14-9, 13-3 in the NAC- will host Vermont State University-Lyndon next Friday night.
Women’s: Husson 76, SUNY Delhi 64. Saige Evans (Old Town) 17 points, 13 rebounds/Danielle Dow (MCI) 12 points, 12 rebounds/Sophia Carnes 11 points/Lilly Roy (Wisdom), Abby Radel (Ellsworth), and Aubrey Kachnovich with 10 points each. Evans has a double double in 13 straight games!! Eagles now 14-8, 13-3 in the NAC- will host UMaine-Fort Kent on Tuesday night in non-conference play.
