Loretta Richardson (27) and Aubrey Wood (20) combined for 47 points to lead Machias to a 67-42 girls basketball quarterfinal win over Narraguagus on Saturday afternoon.
Machias jumped out to a 25-3 lead after the first quarter and never looked back. Olivia Reynolds added 13 points, six rebounds, and two blocks. Richardson recorded eight rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Wood contributed four assists and two steals.
Emma Shaw had 11 points, nine rebounds, and four steals to lead the Knights.
