Maddie McMahon had 11 points, including seven in the fourth quarter to help top seed Gardiner pull off a 49-38 quarterfinal win over Cony on Saturday night at the Cross Insurance Center.
Zoey Sullivan-Brennan added nine points and four assists for the Tigers. Molly Takatsu filled up the stat sheet with eight points, eight rebounds, four assists, and three steals. McMahon was named the Hometown Nutrition player of the game.
Kya Douin scored a game high 19 points for the Rams.
