George Stevens exploded for 21 points in the third quarter and defeated Sumner 46-30 in a Class C girls basketball quarterfinal game played Monday night at the Cross Insurance Center.
Emma Perry-St. Peter had 12 points on 4 three-pointers all in the third quarter. Halle Clifford added 10 points, four assists, and two steals. Aurora Simmons also had 10 points.
Abi Billings had nine points, seven rebounds, and four steals to lead the Tigers.
