The Easton Bears scored 30 points in the third quarter to break open a close game and grab a 72-42 Class S semifinal win over Katahdin on Tuesday morning at the Cross Insurance Center.
Mason Pelletier led the way for the Bears with 34 points, 11 rebounds, seven steals, and six assists. Drew Lamoreau added 18 points.
Conor Schmidt led the Cougars with 16 points, while Calvin Richardson recorded 14 points, eight rebounds, and four steals.
Easton will take on Jonesport-Beals in regional final on Saturday at 11:45 am.
