It was a Saturday built for the Valley Cavaliers who are taking home two gold balls. The Valley boys team would score 45 first half points to build a commanding halftime lead, and would roll to a 77-46 win over Easton in the Class S final played at the Augusta Civic Center.
After the Bears cut the Cavaliers lead to 12 in the third quarter (50-38), Valley would end the game on a run of 27-8. Harry Louis had a game-high 29 points (21 in the first half) while adding six steals and four assists. Fisher Tewksbury contributed 19 points, 14 rebounds, five blocked shots, three assists, and three steals. Levi Short also got into double figures with 12 points and four blocks. Valley wins their eighth state title and first since 2016 finishing with a record of 20-2. Mason Pelletier had 26 points, 15 rebounds, three steals, and two blocks for Easton. The Bears were seeking their third state crown and their first since 1965, as they finish as runner-up with a record of 15-7.
