Husson softball is now 8-0, with all wins coming on their spring trip in Winter Haven, Florida. Here are their results on Monday, March 9th:
Eagles 9, St. Joe’s College (Maine) 1- in 5 innings/mercy rule. Morgan Curtis three RBI, Allie Casavant and Morgan Tainter with two each. Ana Lang (4-0) in the circle- 5.0 innings, one run, three hits, one walk, five strikeouts.
Eagles 3, Dominican University (Illinois) 1- Casavant two-run homer, Lang adds a RBI single. Jasmin Johnson (2-0) the pitching win- 4.0 innings, one run, five hits, no walks. Lang her first save with three scoreless innings.
Husson returns to action on Wednesday afternoon against #24 Belhaven University (Massachusetts) and Albertus Magnus College (Connecticut).
