Brandon Holt and Owen Fowler of Maine were named as award receiptents on Wednesday, as Hockey East named some of their season-long honorees.
Holt was named the leagues best defensive defenseman, while Fowler and Tabor Heaslip of UConn earned best defensive forward. Holt also took home a sportsmanship award along with Will Vote from Boston College. Hockey East will release the list of conference All-Stars this coming Friday morning, while the finalists for Rookie of the Year, Player of the Year, and Coach of the Year will be released on March 16th.
