Chloe Gorey double home two runs in the top of the seventh inning, while Alannah Healy pitched a complete game three hitter in leading the Husson Eagles softball team to a 2-1 win over Muhlenberg on Monday morning at Leesburg.
Olivia Smith also had two hits for the Eagles. Healy allowed one unearned run, three hits, and two walks, while striking out seven.
Husson defeated North Central (MN) 16-0 in their second game Monday morning.
Courtney McIntyre did it with her arm and bat for the Eagles. She had three hits, three runs scored, and three RBI. In the circle, McIntyre pitched a complete game three hit shutout. She walked one and struck out nine.
Olivia Maynard had two hits, three runs scored, and three RBI. Casey Heath had two hits and two runs scored. Husson (4-2) will play two games on Tuesday at Clermont, Florida.
