Justin Courtney fired seven strong innings to lead the University of Maine baseball team to a 4-2 win over the University of Massachusetts on Friday morning at Del Ray, Florida.
The Black Bears trailed 2-0 until they scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning. Jeremy Pena had two hits, including the go ahead RBI.
Lou Della Fera and Danny Casals joined Pena in the two hit club for the Black Bears. Courtney allowed two runs, two hits, and two walks, while striking out seven.
