Dianna Russini from ESPN was the first to report that the New England Patriots traded their first (#32) and third (#103) round picks for wide receiver Brandin Cooks and their fourth (#118) round pick.
Cooks is only 23 years old.
Cooks is one of only three receivers with 75 receptions, 1000 receiving yards, and eight receiving touchdowns in each of the last two seasons.
The Patriots have also added cornerback Stephen Gilmore, tight end Dwayne Allen, and defensive end Kony Ealy so far this offseason.
