“We expect to compete and execute our style of baseball against all teams in our conference,”Miller said. ” (our strengths) returning several accomplished offensive players, good team speed, strong outfield defense.”

Key Players/Position:

  • Chandler Rockwell, Senior, CF/P

  • Levi Stedman, Junior, 2B, P
  • Jacob Olson, Junior, OF

Defending class B champions Old Town come in as the favorite. Hermon will have a strong group returning, while MDI will have a lot of young talent. Miller knows the Ponies can’t overlook anyone on the schedule.

“We play in a strong league, top to bottom,”Miller said. “The competition is consistent throughout, and any team can win on a given day.”

The Ponies are scheduled to open the regular season at Dexter on April 18th. The home opener is scheduled for April 20th against PCHS.  The first class B opponent will be MDI on April 22nd. Foxcroft will play six consecutive home games after opening the season at Dexter. The Ponies will finish the season with four out of five on the road.
