Anton Kuhdobin made 41 saves and the Boston Bruins had three different goal scorers Sunday afternoon, in winning their fifth consecutive game with a 3-2 win over the Chicago Blackhawks at the United Center.
Ryan Spooner and Patrice Bergeron both had first period goals to stake Boston to a 2-0 lead.
Artemi Panarin scored in the middle period to cut the lead to 2-1, before Kevan Miller scored an unassisted goal at 9:15 of the third to regain the two goal lead for the Bruins at 3-1. 25 seconds later, Chicago made it 3-2 with a goal from Jordin TooToo, but Boston was able to hold on. In his last six starts in net, Kuhdobin is now 6-0-0.
Boston (43-30-6), now moves into second place in the Atlantic Division and into sixth place overall in the Eastern Conference. The Bruins will clinch a playoff spot with a regulation win Monday night at home against Tampa Bay.
Chicago (50-22-7), has already clinched the top spot in the Western Conference and will have the home ice advantage throughout the playoffs.
