Chris Sale dominated again and this time he got some help from his friends in a 5-2 Red Sox victory over the Orioles at Fenway Park on Tuesday night.
Sale allowed two runs on three hits and two walks, while striking out 11.
Hanley Ramirez smashed two home runs, Mookie Betts hit a double that scored two runs. Xander Bogaerts and Mitch Moreland had two hits each. Craig Kimbrel retired the side in order in the ninth inning to lock down his ninth save.
Sale (2-2) has struck out at least 10 in each of his last five starts.
Both benches were earned in the first innings after a Sale pitch went behind Manny Machado.
