Bogaerts leads the way in Red Sox win over the Rangers

The Boston Red Sox scored three runs in the fifth inning and four more in the sixth inning to grab an 11-6 win over Texas at Fenway Park on Tuesday night.

Xander Bogaerts recorded three hits, four runs scored, and three RBI to lead the way for the Red Sox offense. Andrew Benintendi reached  base four times with two hits and two walks.

Dustin Pedroia and Mitch Moreland each had two hits and two RBI. Rick Porcello earned the win. He allowed four earned runs on 11 hits in 6.2 innings. Porcello didn’t issue a walk and struck out four. 

The Rangers came into the game winners in 11 of their last 12 games.
