The expectations were not high for David Price coming into Monday afternoon’s contest against the Chicago White Sox.
David Price allowed only two hits and three runs in five innings as the Boston Red Sox fell to the White Sox 5-4 on Memorial Day.
Price struck out four and threw 88 pitches/58 strikes. Melky Cabrera smacked a three run home run off Price.
Dustin Pedroia left the game and will be heading back to Boston for a MRI on a sprained left wrist.
Mookie Betts had two hits, including a home run and two runs scored. The Red Sox only had four hits as a team.
