June 4, 2017

Andrew Benintendi broke out of a slump in a big way in helping the Boston Red Sox get a 7–3 win over the Orioles at Camden Yards on Sunday afternoon.

Chris Sale struggled in the first inning but recovered to register a quality start. Sale allowed three runs on six hits and one walk, while striking out nine.

Benintendi had three hits, including two home runs, three runs scored, and three RBI. Xander had two hits, while Jackie Bradley JR had two RBI.

The Red Sox will start a three game series at Yankee Stadiun on Tuesday. The Red Sox enter the series in second place in the American Leagie East, two games behind the Yankees.
