July 5, 2017

A different player has come up big every game during the Boston Red Sox current hot streak.

On Tuesday night, that player was Andrew Benintendi. He went 5-5, including two home runs, six RBI, and four runs scored in leading the Red Sox to an 11-4 win at Texas.

The number four through nine hitters in the Red Sox lineup recorded 18 hits.  Jackie Bradley JR, Christian Vazquez, and Tzu-Wei Lin had three hits each..

While the hitters were doing their thing, David Price was cruising on the mound. Price pitched six shutout innings, allowing six hits and two walks, while striking out nine.

The Red Soc have won six straight games and eight of their last nine.
