Doug Fister turned in a solid performance on the mound for the Boston Red Sox on Sunday afternoon.
It wasn’t enough as the Red Sox went 1-13 with RISP and fell 2-1 at Fenway Park.
It is the fourth straight loss for the Red Sox, including third to the Orioles.
It is only the second time this season the Red Sox have lost four games in a row. The lead in the American League East is down 2.5 games over the Yankees.
Rafael Devers had two doubles for the Red Sox. Fister (3-7) allowed two runs on five hits and two walks, while striking out seven.
The Red Sox will try to get back on track when they start a three game series at Toronto on Monday night.
