DEXTER— Hannah Dorman recorded a hat trick to lead the Dexter Tigers to a 4-2 win over the Piscataquis Community High School (PCHS) Pirates on Friday afternoon.
Dorman started the scoring with 25:37 remaining. Erin Speed responded for the Pirates just 1:05 later.
Dorman gave the Tigers a lead they wouldn’t give back at the 14:32 mark in the first half.
Dexter held a 3-2 halftime lead. Avery Herrick added an insurance goal with 7:24 remaining in the second half.
Bailey Lemieux added a goal for the Pirates. Alivia Hunt had 14 saves. PCHS (0-2) will get back at it on Saturday morning when they host Lee Academy.
Avery Herrick and Danielle Cummings each had an assist for the Tigers. Dexter (3-0) will host Foxcroft Academy on Tuesday.
