On Wednesday, the Husson University Eagles softball team was selected first in the North Atlantic Conference coaches preseason poll.
Husson received three first place votes. The Eagles edged out Thomas and Castleton who both received two first place votes. Husson won the regular season title last season while Thomas defeated Castleton in the conference championship game. Click here for the full poll.
Husson is currently playing games in Arizona where they have started the season 1-5. The Eagles are scheduled to play a home exhibition doubleheader against Southern Maine Community College on March 25th. Click here for the full schedule.
