Tamara Aunchman went 4-4 and Madelyn Fowler smacked a triple and Home run for the Husson Eagles softball team in the first game of a doubleheader on Thursday afternoon.
Despite the solid hitting, the Eagles fell 6-4 to Northland at Tucson, Arizona.
In the Eagles second game of the day, Aunchman pounded two more hits, included a double and a triple in a 9-6 loss to Coe. Bri Brochu and Olivia Smith had three hits each, while Fowler had one hit. Husson finished their Arizona swing with a 1-7 record. The Eagles will next play on March 24th at Newburyport.
