Cavaliers sweep top seed Raptors

LeBron James once again was too much for the Toronto Raptors. James had 29 points Monday night to lead the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 128-93 win over the Toronto Raptors in game four of an NBA Eastern Conference semifinal series at Quicken Loans Arena in downtown Cleveland. Cleveland wins the best of seven series 4-0. It was the third straight year the Cavaliers have knocked the Raptors out of the playoffs.

Cleveland has now won 10 straight playoff games over Toronto, and this will be the Cavs fourth straight trip to the Eastern Conference Finals. Toronto, the Eastern Conference top seed, finishes their season at 63-29. Jonas Valancuinas led the Raptors with 18 points.

James added eight rebounds and 11 assists, as he attempts to advance to the NBA finals for the eighth straight time. Kevin Love added 23 points, while Kyle Korver had 16, and J.R. Smith 15 as the Cavs outscored the Raptors 37-25 in the third quarter to put the game out of reach after leading by 16 at half.

Cleveland will play the Boston/Philadelphia series winner in the Eastern Conference Finals which will begin next week.
