Price is right in Red Sox win over Baltimore

David Price pitched a complete game gem to lead the Boston Red Sox to a 6-2 win over the Baltimore Orioles at Fenway Park on Thursday night.

Price allowed five hits and struck out eight. The only two runs came off a Manny Machado two run homer in the ninth inning. Price only needed 95 pitches (69 strikes).

J.D. Martinez got the scoring started when he smacked his 13th homer to give the Red Sox a 2-0 lead in the first inning. For the second straight game, Xander Bogaerts hit a three run homer. Mookie Betts had three hits and scored two runs. Betts is hitting .364. Bogaerts, Hanley Ramirez, and Sandy Leon had two hits each.
