If these predictions are correct, there will be two week one games that also end up being semifinal games. Bangor will improve as the season goes on but they are still not there with the other teams in class A North.

The Hawks from Hermon will look to build on their 6-2 2017 season. They have a talented core returning as does Nokomis who also finished 6-2. MCI started the season 2-3 but ended up state champions for the second straight season. The Huskies can’t be counted out no matter what seed they are come playoff team. Winslow is always in the mix and this year should be no different. Oceanside and MDI will meet in a big week one clash.
