The Husson University men’s basketball team rallied from a seven point halftime deficit to defeat Bates 80-78 on Tuesday night at Newman Gymnasium.
Brett Cunningham scored a career high 24 points to lead the way for the Eagles. DJ Bussey put in 15 points while Justin Martine recorded a double double with 13 points and 10 rebounds, he also blocked three shots. It is the first win over Bates for Husson since 2012.
