Presque Isle boys basketball rebound way to win over Foxcroft

DOVER-FOXCROFT– The Presque Isle Wildcats out rebounded Foxcroft 45-17 and rolled to a 66-44 boys basketball win over Foxcroft on Saturday afternoon.

Jason Dumas and Trace Cyr each finished with a double-double for the Wildcats. Presque Isle held a 19-11 lead after the first quarter and built the lead each quarter.

Cyr, who was a game time decision because of being sick scored a game high 17 points and pulled down 11 rebounds. Jonah Hudson had 14 points, four rebounds, and four assists. Dumas filled up the stat sheet with 13 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Caleb Wheaton put in seven points (all in the first half) and pulled down seven rebounds. Presque Isle (8-5) is scheduled to host Hermon on Monday.

Lucas Ames scored a team high 16 points for the Ponies. Hyatt Smith added 11 points, seven rebounds, and two assists, while Jeremy Richard recorded 10 points, four rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Foxcroft (5-9) is scheduled to play at Mount View on Monday.
