Lincoln Academy gets by Oceanside in extra innings

Sullivan Fink’s RBI single snapped a 9-all tie in the 8th and then Fink scored on an Oceanside error to give Lincoln Academy their second win of the season in a high school baseball game played Wednesday afternoon at Rockland. Tiger Cumming tossed 3 innings of shutout relief, retiring the last 8 batters he faced to earn the win. Cumming also had 2 hits and drove in 3 runs for the Eagles.

Ben Ripley had 4 hits and drove in 2 for Oceanside, while Maguire LeBlanc added 2 hits and 2 RBIs and Jonah Carlson drove in 3 for the Mariners.
