On Monday, Maine Principals’ Association baseball and softball committee announced that the regular season has extended until Thursday, May 30th. Schools that have postponements the rest of the regular season will not need approval to make up games on May 30th.
The MPA Baseball and Softball Committees have extended the season by one day. Thursday, May 30, is now a playable date and may be used for make-up games. Teams that postpone games into next week will not need approval from the committees.

Many games were postponed on Monday due to expected major thunderstorms later in the afternoon. A few teams will play two games in one day against different opponents later this week. Dexter softball and baseball will play Orono and George Stevens at Orono on Saturday. Brewer softball will host Hermon and Winslow on Wednesday.
