Gus Hunt gave up a single to Caleb Powell with two outs in the 7th, the only Oceanside hit of the game, and struck out eight to lead Lincoln Academy to the victory. Nathan True had three hits, scored a pair and drove in two for the Eagles.
Karl Ilvonen was the tough luck loser, going the distance, allowing just one earned run on six hits. The Mariners defense committed six errors that led to seven unearned runs.
